In winter, a person needs nutritious food while the digestive system is able to digest the food more efficiently.

This is the reason why consumption of dry fruits in winter not only restores and maintains health but also relieves many physical ailments. Today we are presenting to our readers some sweet and savory recipes made with dry fruits.

Dry fruits and korma

  • Ingredients Required:
  • Meat. Half a kilo
  • Turmeric. Two pinches
  • Coriander. Half a spoon
  • Ghee/Oil Half a liter
  • Garlic The Seven Jewels
  • chili pepper. as needed
  • Ginger. As needed
  • salt According to taste
  • Almonds 125 grams
  • Pistachio 125 grams
  • Peanut 125 grams
  • raisin. 125 grams
  • Yogurt 125 grams

Recipe Dry fruits and korma

Soak the almonds in water at night and in the morning, peel them and fry them in oil or ghee. Similarly, lightly fry pistachios, peanuts and raisins in ghee. After browning the onion in ghee, fry the masala and then add the meat along with curd and fry it. Now add fruits and add water. When the meat is cooked, fry again a little as needed and remove the pan from the stove. Add garam masala and cover it. After some time, serve korma made with dry fruits to eat.

Chicken Nawabi Handi

  • Ingredients Required:
  • Chicken boneless. Half a kilo
  • salt According to taste
  • Garlic paste. A teaspoon
  • Ginger paste. A teaspoon
  • Lemon juice. 1½ tbsp
  • Almond, cashew, pistachio paste. Three tablespoons
  • Green chillies (chopped). Two numbers
  • Yogurt 50 grams
  • Red Chilli Powder. A teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder. One teaspoon
  • Cumin powder. One teaspoon
  • Coriander powder one teaspoon
  • Onion (chopped). 2½ tbsp
  • Cream. Three tablespoons
  • Green coriander. For garnishing
  • butter A tablespoon
  • Edible oil. Four tablespoons
  • coal. A number

Recipe Chicken Nawabi Handi

Take chicken in a vessel and add salt, garlic paste, ginger paste, lemon juice, almonds, cashew and pistachio paste, green chillies, curd, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and coriander powder and mix well. Mix and refrigerate for an hour. Now add cooking oil in a pan and add onions and prepared chicken and fry for three to four minutes and then fry well for two to three minutes.

Now add cream to it and use green coriander as a garnish. Put butter in it and place a burning coal and then add cooking oil or butter on it and let it cook for one to two minutes. Enjoy delicious Chicken Nawabi Handi is ready.

Shahi Halwa

  • Ingredients Required:
  • butter 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Suji 1½ cups
  • ghee ½ tbsp
  • Chinese. ½ cup
  • Water. ½ cup
  • Cardamom powder. A teaspoon
  • The milk as needed
  • Saffron (for garnish) ½ tsp
  • Pistachios (crushed). 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Almonds (crushed). 2 to 3 tbsp
  • ghee 2 tbsp
  • Raisins. 2 tbsp

Recipe with Dry Fruits:

Melt the butter in a small pan, then add the semolina and fry it. After frying, add half a tablespoon of ghee and fry more. Now add sugar and fry well again. Then add water and cook a little more. Now add ground cardamom, milk and saffron to it and mix well, till the semolina is cooked. Now add chopped pistachios and mix again. Then add chopped almonds and ghee to it and mix. Then add the mixture and keep stirring. Enjoy delicious Shahi Halwa is ready.

Kabuli Palau

  • Ingredients Required:
  • Rice A kilo
  • Goat Chaan. 1½ Kg
  • Oil. 750 grams
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • salt According to taste
  • Onion (fry and turn golden). 1 no
  • Onion (chopped). 2 nos
  • Ginger (chopped). 2 inch piece
  • Raisins (fried). A quarter cup
  • Garlic cloves (chopped). 10 numbers
  • Almonds (chopped and roasted). ½ cup
  • Lemon juice. 2 tbsp
  • proven coriander 2 teaspoons
  • Saffron, saffron. just a little
  • Fennel Seed. 2 teaspoons
  • Ginger garlic paste. 1 teaspoon
  • Proven garam masala. just a little
  • Water. 8 cups

Recipe with Dry Fruits:

First, wash the prawns and add water, salt, ginger, garlic paste, chopped onion, coriander and fennel and cook for about an hour. When the prawns are melted, take them out and fry them in hot oil and keep them in a plate. Strain the chanpans and keep them aside. Mix saffron and curry powder. Heat oil in a pan.

Saute garam masala, chopped ginger, garlic and curd and fry it and cook it by adding ice. When it starts to boil, add the soaked rice. Cook on high flame for 5 minutes then reduce the flame by adding salt. When the water dries up, add the chanap and keep it on the tail. First add the rice in the dish, then the prawns on top, then add the fried onions, fried raisins, almonds, saffron mixed curry and lemon juice and take it out in a serving dish. Let’s have delicious kabuli pulao ready.

Matka Chicken Handi

  • Ingredients Required:
  • Onion. 3 numbers
  • Tomatoes (finely chopped). 3 numbers
  • Big cardamom. A number
  • Little cardamom. 2 to 3 numbers
  • Proven black pepper. 5 to 6 numbers
  • fast 2 numbers
  • chili pepper. 4 to 5 numbers
  • salt According to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste. 1½ tbsp
  • Celery. ½ tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder. According to taste
  • Turmeric powder. ½ tbsp
  • Coriander powder. 1½ tbsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli. A tablespoon
  • Green peppers. 3 to 4 numbers
  • Cashew. 5 to 6 digits
  • Yogurt A cup
  • The chicken Half a kilo
  • The oil Half a cup
  • Cream. 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder. 1½ tsp

Recipe with Dry Fruits:

First, grind the onion with the help of a grinder. Then add tomato, big cardamom, small cardamom, black pepper, hot pepper, dry red chili, salt, ginger garlic paste, celery, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili, green chili, cashew and curd. Mix well. Now add the chicken and mix well again and let it marinate for 30 minutes. After that, add oil to the handi and add the marinated chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

Then cover the handi and seal it with flour and let it cook for 30 to 40 minutes. Now close the stove and mix the cream well in it. Heat the handi again, add garam masala and mix well. Cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Finally garnish with green chillies and serve to family with hot naan.
