The blessed month of Ramadan has begun, in which people make special arrangements for food and drink along with worship. This is the reason why different kinds of dishes are made with taste in homes. Pulse Consultants, a public opinion polling agency, recently released a survey based on the opinions of more than 2,000 citizens regarding Ramadan. According to this, 55% of Pakistanis said fruit chaat as their first choice for Iftar, while 52% said pakoras and 24% said samosas/rolls as their first choice. Sehri and Iftar

What should be made in Sehri and Iftar at Home

After water, 47 percent preferred red syrup, while 34 percent preferred lemon water and 16 percent preferred tea. By the way, khajla pheni and parathas are eaten with passion in Suhri, but in the survey, 72 percent of Pakistanis said to eat curry and 50 percent said to eat roti. However, many people also drink different types of omelets, kebabs, yogurt, lassi and milkshakes in Suhoor.

Feeney Sehri and Iftar

  • Ingredients for Butter:
  • ghee Half a kilo
  • Uni puff. Half a kilo

Composition

Heat ghee and uni puff in a frying pan for ten minutes. Then leave it to cool for an hour so that the butter is ready (note: if the butter becomes hard, add a little oil to soften the butter). To make dough, add a cup of water to the flour and knead the dough. Water can be used more or less, as long as the dough is soft. Roll the dough into a donut shape with the help of hands and now apply butter on it and leave it for twenty minutes.

Composition

Blend all the ingredients in a blender and then serve the delicious cold raw lassi in a glass. Consuming raw lassi in hot season keeps the body temperature normal. It cools the liver and reduces heat intensity. Now lassi of different flavors are also being specially liked.

Composition

Add besan, egg, curd, sweet soda, green coriander, green chillies, red chillies, white cumin seeds, chicken cubes and salt in a bowl and mix well with lukewarm water. Now add cottage cheese to it. Then heat oil in a pan and fry the pakoras of this mixture. When the fritters turn golden brown, take them out and keep them on a tissue paper to absorb the oil. Serve hot pakoras made of cheese with tamarind chutney and ketchup.

Composition

Soak gram dal in water. When making pakoras, drain the water and grind the dal well. Now add salt, ground red chillies, turmeric, ground cumin, baking soda, onion, green coriander and green chillies and mix well. After that, heat the oil and put the dal mixture in a small amount in the form of fritters in the pan and fry it well.

Now heat oil in a pan and fry it in the form of fritters until crispy and golden. This will make delicious chicken mince pakodas.

Mix capsicum, tomato, bread slice, green chilli, onion, ginger, garam masala, salt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, cashew paste, chopped green coriander and malai in the mince and make kebabs. Now heat oil in a pan and fry the kebabs.

Recipe

Mix chicken, garlic paste, ginger paste, salt, red chili powder, Chinese salt, soy sauce, chili sauce and sesame oil in a bowl. Refrigerate to marinate for four hours. Then heat one tablespoon of oil in a saucepan. Add garlic paste, Chinese salt and chicken powder and stir with a spoon. Now fry the rice by adding salt and black pepper powder and then take out the rice in a mold and keep it to set.

Arrange the meat cubes marinated in shashlik along with tomato, onion and capsicum cubes to prepare the prokar shashlik sticks. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the sticks, turning them constantly so that the meat is cooked well. Place the shashlik sticks in a serving dish and set aside the molded rice in the dish.
